I had my birthday a couple weeks ago - and it was a great one.
It fell on a Monday, which made it a little difficult to celebrate, but the family took me out to dinner at 54th Street and I got some very thoughtful gifts (flowers, pedicure gift certificate, and a movie pass - all picked out by the kids!)

Colin and Eli drew me a picture for my birthday.
If you look closely, you can see that Colin wrote "Mom u liv in a zoo Habe Brthday". Yep kid, thanks, I already know.
Maggie and Eli also drew me a picture the next morning.
Hers said "Happe Brthda momme I love you". I am so blessed!
The kids picked out their new school shoes - I just love their personalities that come out in their shoe selection...
Meanwhile...Eli found a little kid chair outside and just had a blast climbing on and off of it.
Gotta love em!
