December field trip to the Royals Stadium

We got the tree up!

We got quite a bit of snow one weekend early in December - actually it was an official 'blizzard' with the winds and such.  The kids had a blast playing out in the snow for many, many days!  They got 2 snow days from school, too!

Brian got to go with Colin to a field trip at Royals Stadium.  He said it was really neat and Colin loved having his dad around to chaperone the trip!

Roller skating fun!

Right after Thanksgiving we were able to go to a birthday party at the roller skating rink.

The kids always have a blast - and this party was tons of fun for everyone!

Love this picture!

Colin is super good at the limbo

It was a nice friendly competition between the kids and parents (the kids won!)

Eli loved that he could do it, too!

And eventually just ditched his skating helper and crawled under

Here is Brian trying to get under the bar (with Colin 'helping' by smooshing him down).  He wasn't close, but he tried hard!  :)

It was a fun night with smiles by everyone!

Thanksgiving 2018

We started off the day by visiting Meemaw in the rehab facility for a few minutes, since we were celebrating Thanksgiving on the Dudley side on Friday.

Then we hurried back to our house for a Teson side celebration.

Michael even felt well enough to come for a visit

The weather was warm so we were able to get a nice friendly football game going in our backyard

With, of course, some brotherly competition as well!

Maggie loved this poinsettia that she got from Dave's girlfriend, Jordan.

Then we went over to Mike and Annettes house to see other extended Teson family, including GG Rita.  We love our time with her, she's so sweet!

The next day we celebrated Dudley Thanksgiving at Tiff and Chad's house.
We even broke mom out of her rehab facility to spend some time with us!

The kids were watching a show downstairs and we found Gordon piled on top of Colin.  He must've been a really comfy pillow!

We also found this super classy picture of Tiff and I from our childhood and tried to recreate it.
Gotta love those short hair cuts and matching outfits!

Maggie had all of Arleigh's attention reading to her.  She really does a great job with younger kids and engages them well!  Maybe she will be a teacher one day!

One big group shot with the grandkids and Meemaw - and CJ of course!

Brian snuck in a cute picture with Arleigh

and one more group pic of the cousins.

We had a nice time with wonderful food and fun!

Meemaw's birthday and SeaLife

Meemaw spent her 71st birthday in the outpatient rehab center after her hip replacement surgery.
She did just get discharged late last week, but we came to her at her new 'home' to celebrate and eat some cake!

Right after that visit, we drove up to downtown KC to the SeaLife aquarium to use our passes that Santa gave us last year for Christmas.

Silly fishy faces

Looking up at Dory!

So many neat fishes and there were even some that we got to touch!

Not sure what's going on with Colin in this one, but the kids had a blast and saw some really cool sea life at the aquarium.
