Build a Bear

Part of Maggie's birthday present was to get a stuffed animal from Build a Bear.
We knew going in that it would be EASY to spend a ton of money there, so we had a limit set up and she did great!

Not sure why these superheroes were walking around outside, but we had to get a picture with them.
Maggie was so excited to hold the gun!

Maggie picked out this really cute rainbow colored stuffed animal.
She couldn't really decide between the Elsa one or this one, but she decided this one would be better because it could wear more outfits.

Here is Maggie filling up the bear with lots of stuffing.
She put a special heart inside and gave it a kiss.  Super cute!

She got to wash and brush it after it was filled with stuffing.

We let her pick out one outfit and a pair of shoes, and then she used some of her own money to buy some pajamas for the bear.

After Build a Bear, we went to 54th street for some dinner to celebrate her birthday.  Maggie just loves that place.

Eli does such a great job out to dinner.  He is so easy to distract right now!

And finally, I wanted a good family picture of all of us.
Well, I couldn't find anyone to take our picture, so I just grabbed our 13 year old neighbor.

He took one picture, and I convinced him to take one more, just in case.
This was our "good" one (you couldn't even see Maggie's face in the other one).
Colin is making a "silly face" and Eli has his "don't mess with me" look going on.

I'll take what I can get...at least we're all looking! :)

All about Maggie - the big 5!

Our sweet Maggie Mae turned 5 last weekend.  Brian and I still can't believe she's getting so big (figuratively speaking of course, she's actually only in the 12th percentile for height, so there's that...)

Here are pictures from each of her birthdays:

Just before we headed home

Oh, sweet, dramatic Maggie

Love that little smirk of hers

Celebrating #3 at school

She still loves Chuck E Cheese (for her 4th birthday)

And now, this year (excuse her wacky hair, she was pumped to get downstairs for some donuts and serenading)

Girlfriend still loves her Frozen stuff - her birthday party was Elsa themed

As usual, we kept presents to a minimum, and luckily, our kids are perfectly fine with that!

Such a cute picture of Colin and Mags

And of course, the silly faces...

Eli was happy to be a part of the smiley action

The Teson boys...

Maggie is such a great big sister (I knew she would be!)

Maggie got some roller skates and knee/elbow/wrist pads for her birthday.
We've got to get ready for all those skating parties that she will have as a kindergartner!

This year, we had her party at a gymnastics place.
Maggie took gymnastics last year, but we haven't done any classes since then.  She loves it, so we might have to start thinking about it again.

Colin did great with his cousin Gordy

All of her friends at the party
Honestly, there were too many there.  Maggie had a hard time playing with everyone, so we will be keeping the parties much smaller in the future.  But, everyone had a great time, so I guess it was a success!

For some reason Maggie got very shy when we were all singing to her.

I love how she is playing with her hair and smiling so sweet at her Daddy

So happy that her friend Zoey stepped in and helped blow out the candles

It was a wonderful birthday celebration.
Happy Birthday sweet Maggie!

Kindergarten Roundup

Maggie had Kindergarten roundup this week.  I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten next year, but she is definitely ready to go.  She's so excited to get to wear a uniform and go to school with Colin again.  She's hoping to get the same teacher that Colin has right now.

We got to tour the school and see all the "specials" classrooms, like art, music, computer, spanish, etc.  It was a lot of fun!  Colin had a blast showing Maggie around and being our tour guide at the school.  He was a really proud big brother!

Maggie and her friend, Angelina.  They met while watching their brothers play soccer together.  They were fast friends, running around the fields together.

Maggie and cousin, Johnny!  It's so much fun to have family member at school with you.

There is one other girl from Maggie's preschool that will be attending St. Therese.  And as luck would have it, her name is Maggie, as well.
So here's Maggie A and Maggie T, all ready for next year!

My future Kindergartner!

I love this picture of Colin and Maggie

My sweet Maggie Mae.

We've got a few more days of Pre-K left, then we're off for the summer.  I'm sure it will fly by.

7 months...

So I'm a little late posting this, but I just organized some of my pictures that were saved on the camera and I looked through all of Eli's "monthly" pics.

Man, it's amazing how quickly time goes when you have a newborn.
I swear it's just because you are in a daze for so long, barely scraping by on a few hours of sleep, while still attempting to manage a household full of other siblings.

And amongst all those crazy days, your little tiny baby turns into a 7 month old, 21 lb chubby dude that wears 18 month clothes.

I'm so mad!! I forgot to take a 6 month picture of the kid...
But I do have some pretty cute ones from this month

Always slobbering...

7 months just flew by!
