Easter 2019

Easter morning was quite busy at our house - we went to 8 am mass so we had to sort through the Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny and find eggs, all before 7:30!

The Easter Bunny did great - they got pajamas or a set of clothes, a book, and a little candy.

The kids found the eggs in no time and were sorting through their stash.

I love Eli's face in this picture - he was so serious about counting each and every piece of candy!

We tried to get a cute family picture at church after mass, but realized the sun made for some strange lighting, so....

I wrangled up our neighbor Debbie who got a better one for us in our backyard

Then we went to Grammie and Granddad's for some brunch and more egg hunting.

Easter at the Parks house

We had a wonderful day celebrating Easter the Saturday before at the Parks house.

I have always said, they have the BEST backyard for Easter egg hunts.

We spent the majority of the day outside, playing catch and some other fun outdoor games.

The weather was beautiful!

Maggie helped paint Arleigh's toe nails.

She LOVED being a big girl cousin with Arleigh.

Then we decorated/ate cupcakes

Some big messes were made, but that's okay, cause we were at Aunt Tiffey's house and she's good with messes.

Lots of concentrating and beautiful masterpieces made.

We had to scoot to get to Colin's soccer game later that night.  Soccer season is in full swing!
