Just like the past few years, our family got professional pictures taken in June.
My goal, since it is 1 month after Maggie's birthday and 1 month before Colin's birthday, is to get a few good shots of the kids, a couple of shots of the 2 of them, and if we're lucky, a good family picture.
We had to use a different photographer than the last 2 years (she took some time away from photographing), but I got a great referral from a co-worker and she did not disappoint.
We went to the World War I museum and got some great pictures with the Kansas City skyline in the background. As luck would have it, it was about 85 degree and hot, humid, and sticky by 10 am when we took the photos. Maggie had a really short temper that morning, but she did cooperate fairly well.

Time sure does seem to fly!
