New phone - new pics from Feb and March

So Brian and I got a couple of new phones (broken screens, bad batteries, etc) and I just now figured out how to get the pictures transferred over so I can post them on the blog.
I know you all have been so sad that I haven't put any pictures up lately -
well, I finally figured it out, so here you go!!!

The weather has been getting a little Spring-y lately, so Eli has been enjoying using the neighbors trampoline.  You should see him run on there - it's hilarious!

We have been LOVING our neighborhood walks lately with Moose

Eli definitely does not have enough balls to play with in the basement!

Caught up with our friends, the Coomers' the other day for dinner.

Grammie and Granddad took the kids for free IHOP pancake day after school one day

They love those pancakes!!

Got this sweet picture sent from daycare one day.
I can almost hear him laughing...

Another walk around our neighborhood - checking out the new waterfall progress at the entrance of the neighborhood

The kids and I went to see Moana one day a couple weeks ago.
We loved it - so glad it's on Redbox now so Brian can see it, too!!

Eating some popcorn and watching a funny movie one night
Moose is just ready and waiting for a dropped piece of popcorn!

Another family came to see us one weekend.  The Hopkins' came to stay over night and they brought their 2 kids and a dog.  We had a full house and had so much fun!

Colin and Micah played in the snow for quite some time!

Homemade snow cones!

Micah tried to climb up the slide for a LONG time - Colin tried so hard to help him up there.
After about 20 minutes, it finally happened. TEAMWORK!!

Bumming around, watching a show before they had to leave

The girls played so well together

Selfies with Eli!

Hugging on cousin Caroline at church one weekend.

A family selfie on another walk

Shooting some hoops on St. Patty's day

We went out to dinner to celebrate the kids good report cards.
I love this picture of big boy Eli walking with Daddy.

Caitlin and Chris had their baby (on St. Patty's day), the same day as Daniel was born.
He is such a cutie - we got to meet Bennett last week.
So many Teson boys!!!

Went shopping last weekend for some spring clothes - the kids are growing like weeds!!!

Brian went on a mens' church retreat last weekend - so I had all the kids flying solo.
We were super glad when Brian came home on Sunday night.  We missed him so much!

Eli came down with a fever while Brian was at the retreat - which meant he wanted to be held the ENTIRE WEEKEND.  This made things a little more difficult, but it's amazing what you can do with one hand :)
I stayed home with him the next day, and he felt much better!

We're getting a lot of use out of our bounce house this year!

February - life lately

I started this post a while ago, and just now am getting to writing about it.

Great-Grandma Rita had her 90th birthday and the Teson side threw a little get together for all of our family and friends at her new residence.  It was a lot of fun!

maggie and Eli with GGRita (Colin was at a birthday party)

I had to work a Saturday clinic - so I got to take off work the Friday before.
I got SOOO much accomplished that day, and I had time to stop by the school to eat lunch with the kids.  That was a nice little treat!

Maggie hi-jacked my phone and took some selfies after bath time one night

Crazy girl!

And...
the best surprise of all!! Both Colin and Maggie were chosen as students of the month for March for the Christ skill of cooperation.  This is a pretty big deal at St. Therese.
They were so excited and it was a nice treat for Brian and I to attend their school assembly when they got their award.  They wanted to get a pretzel and cheese as a reward.  Easy peasy!

Mid-February happenings

Emptying out some pictures from my phone - I swear I'll get more organized one of these days! :)

Love that Eli's daycare sends pictures of him throughout the week.
Here he is on Valentine's day - such a sweetheart!

Colin is taking his last dose of his seizure medicine!
His EEG came back normal and we had to wean him off his medicine over a 2 week period.   Let's just say he was not sad to see this cup go!
He is such a trooper with it all.

Another daycare picture - he's dancing like a ballerina (I think!)

Clapping for himself after doing a good job coloring his paper!

Maggie had her Kindergarten musical the other night - she was a funky chicken in the Barnyard Moosical.  Colin got all dressed up to watch his sister perform!

Brian took Maggie to the Father/Daughter dance at school.
They had so much fun!
Here is maggie with some of her school friends

Their picture on the "red carpet"

Maggie having a blast on the stage, front and center!

More girls just being silly!

Maggie and her friend Gabe!

Maggie and Mady Brown.  They went to dinner together before the dance and we carpool with Mady throughout the week.  Such a nice family!

The kids have been roller skating around our house lately, and of course, Eli wants in on the action.  He's not so sure about it once the skates are on :)

Boys hanging out while Brian and Maggie are at the dance

I snapped a quick picture before they left.
She loved her corsage that Brian gave her.  They looked so cute together!

Playing catch up

Well it's definitely been a while since I've put up a blog post.
This winter has been flying by.  Between sports, school activities, birthdays, etc, it's just been one thing after another for us!

Here's what we've been up to lately:

Brian took the kids to see Trolls, and then we all went to see Sing a week later.
The kids just love movies, and we always suggest movie giftcards as good present ideas for people because it's so much fun for them to be able to "pay" for the movies themselves.

Attempting to get a good pic of us in the theatre, waiting for Brian to come back with some popcorn!

Eli is really developing a great personality lately.
In the mornings, when he wakes up SUPER EARLY (seriously, never sleeps past 5:50 am), he plays around in our closets and finds the most random things.
Above, it was some medal from a race, and a bunch of different Royals hats.

Maggie was 'star student' a few weeks back.  She thought that was awesome, and ABC Star Bear got to spend a week with us at our house.

She went with us to church...

And to Maggie's dance class.
So much fun!

Gordon turned 3 a couple weeks ago.  The Parks' family threw a great party and we all had a lot of fun!  He is such a cute kid.  It's so much fun watching him grow up and turn into a really awesome big brother to Arleigh!

Brian and I went on a date during KC restaurant week.  We went to Q39, a wonderful BBQ place in KC.  The food was fantastic and we had a great time.

Colin started playing indoor soccer and had his first indoor soccer game.
That is one intense game, but he is enjoying himself  in the 'offseason' for regular soccer.

Colin had his 2 -year repeat EEG for his epileptic seizures.  He LOVED staying up late again with Brian, and actually was pretty enjoyable when I got him up at 4 am for the morning.  We played Uno, checkers, Old Maid, and Trouble.  Before we knew it, everyone else in the family was waking up for the day.  He did a fantastic job on the EEG, and I stayed in the waiting room while he had it done.  We went out to lunch with Brian at On the Border after his appointment.
We got the results back just a few days ago and so pleased to announce that HIS EEG WAS NORMAL!!!  That means we get to wean him off his meds for the next 2 weeks and then we won't have to worry about the seizures any more!!!  So happy to have this behind us.  And so glad to know that his body outgrew these seizures like they said he would.

Colin is also playing winter basketball for the Y.
He likes it a lot, and has a pretty good group of buddies on his team.  Next year, as a 2nd grader, he can play for his school.
