October 2020 test run

Eli turned 5 earlier this month - he was soooo excited and even had a count down to his big day.
He got a lot of thoughtful gifts and gave everyone a hug immediately after opening them.

He's such a sweet kid!

Eli wanted a pinata for his party.  He invited a handful of friends from his preschool and we met at a park in our neighborhood.  The kids had so much fun running around and playing with each other.

Eli loves Nick & Jakes and picked that restaurant for his dinner.
We hadn't been there since things have slowly started opening back up with limited seating.
We had a great time.

Eli with his gigantic birthday brownie!

Meanwhile, Colin is playing soccer and baseball this season.
He just started playing baseball this year and there are a lot of classmates on his team.
It has been a wonderful experience for him and he's learned so much!

Eli finished up with soccer this past weekend.
He tried soccer for the first time and loved it!  We might have yet another soccer player in the family.  He hustled on the field and is a pretty good dribbler!
Here he is receiving his medal for the season.

And last but not least, Maggie finished her volleyball season last weekend as well.  She continues to do gymnastics and is probably going to start basketball for the winter season.

Her volleyball team consisted of all friends from school - she had a great time.
We're continuing to work on her overhand serve (it's hard to get that down!), but she's quick and agile and isn't afraid to dive for the balls.  It was a lot of fun watching Maggie excel in volleyball this year!
