Sporting KC game in the Suites!

Since my employer is a partner with Sporting KC (soccer team), we are eligible for entering raffles to win suite tickets to see the SKC team play various home games.

Well......I won 2 suite tickets last month and Brian and I had a blast watching the game from some super comfy, all you can eat seats!

Terrible lighting, but here is Brian and I before the game started

I tried to fix the lighting on here - it was super bright on the field and dark in the suite, so that made things difficult to photo!

I love this hospital that I work for - they truly do value their employees

Their mascot "blue" came to visit us during the game

and the KC Chiefs football punter Dustin Colquitt was there to watch the game as well, and stopped by our suite to say hello.  He was super friendly and nice to chat with for a bit.

We ended up losing in overage time, but it was still an exciting game to watch.

Fathers Day 2019

We celebrated Brian on Fathers day - such a good role model for the kids and always very loving and patient with us all!

We hit up our new favorite mexican restaurant (Eli's in there too, between Colin and I, just holding up his shoe though because he refused to lean forward)

Each kiddo decided to get him his favorite candy, but Eli had a really cute picture frame made in daycare that says 'my dad rocks' and it had rocks glued to the outside.  So cute!

We also went to see a movie that day, secret life of pets 2.
It was pretty darn cute!

Happy Fathers Day, Brian!

Mothers Day 2019

As per usual the last few years, Colin had a soccer tournament on Mothers Day weekend.
Luckily, he was done early enough that we still had time to celebrate.

The coach always buys flowers for the boys to give to their mothers!

And...looking at the sky in the background, there was a storm brewing and the game was called early.

After the soccer game, we went to see Meemaw for a bit.
She had a whole spread of food ready for us and we came hungry!!

Eli LOVES rocking on the horse when we're at Meemaws

But Eli did not love having his picture taken, so here's Meemaw with the 2 older kiddos

And one more with a sad Eli that was ready for a nap!

Then we went to visit Grammie (but for some reason I didn't get a picture!)

The kids took me out to dinner that night at a new mexican restaurant not far from our house.
Everyone thought it was great so I'm sure we'll be back there again.

Silly faces!

And while we were at the restaurant, Eli started to get a rash on his face (which ended up being Fifths disease, so I got to stay home with him the next day and extend my Mothers Day a little bit longer!)

I got some really cute gifts from the kids, lots of homemade cards, and a gift certificate for a pedicure.

Happy Mothers Day to all you mother figures out there!

May ordinary days

Pictures from my phone from May (trying to get caught up!)

Colin was Papa Storm in his class "weather" play.  He did a great job!

Brian got to see Maggie in class one day - so great to get pictures like this while I am at work!

Maggie with her newest cousin Baby Anna.
They look like twins! :)

Maggie goofing around with her friend Katelyn.  Can't you hear them laughing?!

Eli and I hit up a fun little popcorn shop one weekend

Some pictures from dance recital

We went to our summer nanny Katie's graduation party and Eli refused to be in the picture unless he was being a goober, so this is what we got!

Colin was at a soccer tournament, but we were so excited to celebrate with Katie.

Maggie's First Holy Communion

Maggie had a WONDERFUL day for her first holy communion.

She looked so pretty and was nervous, but super excited!
We practiced quite a bit at home before her big day (with goldfish and water, of course) so she felt comfortable up there.

Maggie got to go up there with her cousin Johnny, which made it even more special

And Aunt Tiffey got some great pictures of Maggie up there, which was sooooo appreciated.

Eli was being a little stinker so he didn't want to get in the picture

Love this sweet little girl!

Fr Joe is such a great priest - he calls her "marvelous Maggie!" whenever he sees her

A couple weeks later, the whole 2nd grade got together to get a picture of their class

Maggie was just thrilled to get dressed up again (and this time she had her special rosary she received as a gift for her first communion)

Congratulations, Maggie Mae!
