Maggie's 7th birthday celebrations

We had so much fun celebrating Maggie's 7th birthday!

She was able to bring in a cookie cake to her class at school

We found this awesome cookie place called Eileen's cookies and their cakes are heavenly!!!

Last picture of her as a 6 year old!

All ready for school on her birthday

We did donuts for breakfast and sang to her

She's such a blessing to our family!

After school she opened her gifts up from the family..
and ran her brother over giving him a hug!

She wanted sleeping face masks

We went out to dinner and Eli didn't want to look at the camera, so here's the best we got!

Meemaw and Grammie both took her shopping at Justice and she got some really cute stuff!
All the glitter! :)

Then we had a family party and she got ANOTHER cookie cake because they are that good!

The next day we had her friends birthday party at Michaels craft store and she made some duct tape pens and pouches with her friends.

It was a small turnout but they all had a good time getting crafty!

Still can't believe my sweet girl is 7 already!
Here's to a great year, Maggie Mae!

Family pics 2018

Grammie arranged for a Teson family photo session prior to a family wedding a couple weeks ago.

The photographer took pictures of ALL of the Teson's together, then did individual families and even pictures of each kid!

Somehow, it all turned out fantastic, even though it rained all morning and was super humid when we got them done.

She was testing out the light in one location and snapped this cute one of Maggie.

One of our family photos

My sweet Maggie Mae!

Our ornery Colin Joseph!

And little pistol Eli Jacob!

The other family pic (when Eli wasn't quite feeling like smiling!)

And all of us together!

Such a fun morning - updated family pictures are always so neat to get!

Busy times in May!

May is just cruising along for our family - we are in the middle of school wrap-up as well as having lots of end of season tournaments and dance recitals!

Keeping us busy for sure!!!

Eli loves being outside - and especially loves it if it involves playing in a park.
He's really coming into his own in terms of knowing what his limits are physically.
He's trying to learn new things every day and it's really neat to see!

Running fast up the stairs at the park!

Brian was able to get Colin and Maggie signed up for a golf clinic through the FirstTee program.
They loved it!
It just so happened that the clinic was held at a place that had a footgolf course as well (think golfing with soccer balls).  Colin's buddy from his soccer team, Finn, came to the golf clinic and stayed after to play some footgolf.  They had a blast.  Brian, too, of course, I think he's just a big 12 year old at heart.  He sent me some cute pictures of them playing.

Finn, Colin, and Finn's older brother Beck

Then we took Maggie to a friends birthday party (princess theme!)

Eli loved the pink carriage!

So cute!

Then later that afternoon we went to a friends house (the Croghan family) to eat dinner and play!

We had no idea, but their daughter Katelyn was born just a few days before Maggie, so they were fast friends for sure!

Eli loved their water feature in their backyard, so much so, that he was drenched by the end of the day.  I will say it was a hot day, so maybe he had a good idea after all....

Chalking in the swing set

Crazy kids!

Maggie and I got to use some giftcards from Christmas to get our nails done.
She's such a girlie girl - I think she could get used to this!

Eli humored me and let me take some pictures of him in front of the beautiful spring trees!

Tiff and I went to Topeka for a funeral a couple weeks ago - it was nice visiting with our old neighbors, the Moshers.

They had us over for a lovely lunch.
We love Bud and Lil!

And Tiff and I enjoyed some uninterrupted sister time (hard to come by these days, for sure!)

I got a new hair curler and Maggie is in love - she's so pretty with those beachy waves!

I got to take Colin to one of his soccer games last weekend - it was really cool to be able to focus on him playing the whole time.  Brian was at the house with Maggie and Eli, and he played a great game!

He even played goalie for the 2nd half and loved it (he's in the blue jersey)!
Even though I had a heart attack watching him - it's so stressful!

And I was able to drag the kids to the front fountain at the entryway of our neighborhood for a quick picture.  I love when all the plants start turning green in the spring!

A quick pic with Aunt Tiff and Gordy before we went to visit Meemaw at her church Mother's Day celebration.

The Dudley Girls!
We had such a lovely time at Meemaw's church.  They did a special luncheon for the women of the church and Tiff and I were able to make it to celebrate with Mom.

Maggie had dance recital pictures last week.
She rocked it!

Love this one!

Maggie and her buddy Quincy

She looks like the cutest flight attendant to me!!

Phew!!!  That was a lot of pictures, but we've definitely been busy!

A little spring break fun!

I'm so behind in writing all this - but the kids had their spring break at the end of April.
The weather was pretty chilly, but we got one nice day in there!

They played some board games...

We went out to dinner at a mongolian barbeque place where they cook right in front of you - the kids thought it was awesome!!!

A quick picture after dinner

My sweet girl!

They used the rest of their gift cards to Power Play and had a blast!

We did some bumper cars!

The kids loved this simulated roller coaster ride

We even hit up my company's kickoff party of the Corporate Challenge, but it was soooo cold out there that we didn't stay long.  See Colin still has his gloves on he was trying to warm up!

Some fun times in April on Spring Break week!!!

Ordinary days in April!

I went through my phone - looking for some fun pictures taken in April!
I found quite a few!

Brian snapped this one of Eli - he had a giant bubble on his right eye and he couldn't even tell it was there.  The other kids thought it was hilarious!  It looked like a monocle.

Eli went with me to grab Maggie from dance one night.  He wanted to stay for a while - so Maggie just sat next to him as he watched all the dancers come in and out of the studio.

Then those 2 decided to set up some chairs on our front porch and enjoy some fresh air.

My work got together for a little outing at Top Golf one Sunday morning.
Eli had a ton of fun there.

He didn't care *how* he made contact with the ball, as long as he hit it somewhere.

Here is the group picture from Top Golf.
Such a fun way to spend a couple hours with my co-workers.
