Ordinary Days in February

Here's a quick snapshot of our ordinary days in February (as depicted from random pictures on my phone!)

Maggie went to a STEM night at school (Colin was at soccer practice) and had a blast building and using the cool technology at STS

We hit up Red Robin to celebrate Colin and Maggie's good report cards at school

Maggie gave our summer nanny Katie her essay she wrote saying why Katie was the Kindest Kansas Citian!  We agree!!!

Went searching for some cute dress shoes to wear at First Communion and Father/Daughter dance and of course, Maggie gravitated towards the sparkly glitter high tops with huge bows :)

And no, we didn't buy them, but there was some major begging going on in the store...

One of our family friends had a little get together at a gymnastics place and we had so much fun!

Maggie and Scarlet enjoying the party favors

Such fun kids

We ate some snacks and watched the Super Bowl (but only halfheartedly as our Chiefs were not in it!)

Maggie and I went to St. Pius high school for Grade school basketball night.  Free admission to the JV and Varsity girls basketball games

Plus you got to go out and form a tunnel for the players as they were introduced

Then it was Jump Rope for Heart time at school
This year they got to do basketball, hula hoop, jump rope, etc.

Maggie and Addison made some slime one afternoon

And Brian showed them how to make slime bubbles
(and also how to pick slime pieces out of your beard when it gets stuck in there!)
Silly Daddy!
