We convinced Colin to have his birthday party at our neighborhood pool again this year. It really is so convenient and they always have a ton of fun!
Colin had about 8 boys come to his party (plus Maggie, of course!) and they all played/swam great together.
The pool wasn't very busy, which was nice. They had plenty of room to throw balls around and be silly boys!
True love. Caitlin braved the 100 degree heat with baby Bennett for Colin's party.
Such a good group of kids!
Colin wanted a Pokemon theme this year.
We ordered pizza and had fruit and cake.
Seriously though, it was 100+ degree outside. Gotta love late July birthdays :)
Surprised the icing wasn't melting off the cake, but here was my best attempt at a cake for Colin.
Accidentally brought trick-candles for his cake (honestly), and that was pretty fun when they kept re-lighting on their own.
We brought what we thought was a generous amount of water balloons to the party, too.
Well, we were wrong.
They were gone in about 45 seconds. It was still fun though!
The kids improvised and starting throwing shoes at each other, HA!
Colin had a great party with some pretty amazing friends.
